Woolderness is quite a unique studio! This studio is for YOU. We have 3, 4 harness looms, 4 Louet spinning wheels, 2 drum carders, hand carders, drop spindles, a kitchen for dyeing, a large 6 ft. tapestry loom and lots of ROVING! We also carry hand-dyed rug yarn, cotton, wool & silk floss and so much more!
Come spend the afternoon and let your imagination run wild! Roxanne (that's me) and Pat (that's my partner) will get you started on your journey into the FIBER ARTS!
You will meet wonderful people and make new friends. A whole new world will be open to you and you will be HOOKED!
In the days to come, I will be telling you more and more about Woolderness, about the classes we offer and about the people who come to the studio. Hessel is a tourist community, so I meet people from all around the country. These people spend their summers in their island cottages, & on their boats. Some are only here for a week or two.
But we all have one thing in common -- we have been to Woolderness and LOVE it!
